The CAST IRON obtained by extrusion, has a very fine grain with no deduction and porosity. This result is ensured by the rapid cooling of the water in graphite shells through which the liquid cast iron is passed.

The particular method of casting makes the surface of the bars obtained free from incrustations of sand typical of conventional cast, leading to easier processing, sanded and polished.

Thanks to its high strength and  its structure of very fine grain, extruded cast iron is watertight to gases and liquids, including the exercise of high pressure.
